The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has silenced his critics by telling them he has delivered majority of the promises he made to Ghanaians before he became President.
He indicated in a one on one interview which was monitored by Wontumionline.com on Wontumi TV and Radio that his opponents are still confused and can’t understand how he has managed to fulfil majority of the promises he made to Ghanaians.
“My opponent that contested said I couldn’t do what I have done in government. They said I am lying to Ghanaian but records show that I have fulfilled majority of the promises I made to Ghanaians”, President Akufo-Addo underscored.
He also remarked that “today they know I didn’t just make vague promises, I meant business”.
It would be recalled that during the New Patriotic Party’s national annual delegates’ conference which was held at the Trade Fair site last year, President Akufo-Addo touted the achievements of his government noting that the volume of work and campaign promises he has fulfilled in his first term will secure him another four-year term in office.
“Our opponents don’t have any record to come and defend; Ghanaians have already rejected them. Let us stay together and work hard. I am very confident that by December 2020, the EC would declare the NPP victorious,” he said.
